We have been designing and realizing tumor registries for over 13 years. The extensive real world databases with long-term documentation of over 45,000 patients are characterized by a high level of expertise in design, realization and analysis.
Paperless and user-friendly– since the beginning our study software and portals have been the digital backbone for conducting research projects. Based on many years of experience, they run consistently through all applications.

What started twenty years ago as a small business with two part-time positions, has grown into a medium-sized company with more than 115 employees. Management
Michael Proschel is responsible for the overall commercial, strategic and operational management. He has over 25 years of experience in the life science industry (clinical research, pharmaceutical industry and digital health technologies), both in national and international functions.
Dr. med. Norbert Marschner opened the first specialist surgery for oncology and hematology in Freiburg in 1993. In 1996 he founded the clinical research institute iOMEDICO together with his wife and now acts as CEO.
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. med. Norbert Marschner became known for his work in breast cancer and is now an internationally renowned researcher. He is the author of over 100 publications and numerous book chapters and is regularly requested as peer reviewer for multiple journals. His work has been awarded various prizes.
He has directed numerous national and international research projects as well as clinical trials. A popular speaker and moderator, he presents at congresses, symposia and workshops – also in the area of healthcare research.

In 1996 Sybille Marschner founded the clinical research institute iOMEDICO together with her husband. Since then she has been responsible for Administration and Human Resources.
Dr. Sabine Busies has been involved in clinical research in the therapeutic area of haematology and oncology since completing her doctoral thesis in 1995. She has been working for iOMEDICO since 1999 and played a key role in transitioning the initial small team into the multiple department full-service provider it is today. Today she heads the core business unit, the clinical and epidemiological research.

As a practicing specialist and expert for oncological studies Dr. med. Karin Potthoff has been working at university hospitals and in the pharmaceutical industry since 1995. In 2015 she joined iOMEDICO as its Medical Director.
