Patient-reported outcomes (PRO) are of crucial significance in the evaluation of oncological therapies. They are collected directly from the patient via questionnaires. Here, the PRO Patient platform provides a mobile, digital system: simple, intuitive input, quality assured by automatic verification of the data and direct evaluation and feedback options.
The system has become well established in centers participating in clinical and health care research projects. Short questionnaires are displayed using a patient-friendly interface and are completed intuitively even by those without computer experience. The time in the waiting room is put to good use: the patient receives the tablet computer upon arrival and completes the questionnaire while waiting.
PRO Patient gives centers access to numerous scientific projects and routine applications; and provides the basis for documenting information reported directly by the patient.
